Module 8: Gaming and Social Media
This module analyses the role of gaming and social media in building social connections. It also discusses the risks of online social interactions in gaming and social media environments. It examines how gaming communities and social networks shape social identity and belonging, along with the associated benefits and risks of social media and gaming. Strategies for developing healthy relationships with gaming and social media are provided, along with the crucial role of educators and youth workers in managing their impact.
