Digital Life Skills is an Erasmus+ KA2 project that runs from November 2023 to October 2025
The DLS project aims to develop smart users of smart technology by bridging the gap between life skills and digital skills. These skills are essential for young people to navigate and contribute to a safe, respectful, and thriving digital world. To achieve this, the project will introduce an innovative methodology built on existing courses and resources related to digital citizenship and cyber safety. This methodology will empower youth workers to effectively support young people in an increasingly digitalized environment.
Objectives
- Raising awareness among youth workers and educators about behavioral patterns in interactions with technology.
- Creating and innovating based on existing materials, in collaboration with specialists from various domains, to develop a methodology that supports the creation of inclusive spaces and enhances employability.
- Developing online social consciousness by encouraging youth participation, fostering important values for responsible and inclusive digital citizenship, and empowering young people to take the lead in promoting healthy online behavior.
- Increasing the capacity of organizations and their networks in training and equipping them to address current online and offline challenges related to youth exclusion, unemployment, and digital literacy.
Target groups
- Youth Workers and Educators: Professionals looking for effective strategies to guide young individuals in digital spaces.
- Young Individuals: Particularly those from underserved communities, including NEETs and those with fewer opportunities or at risk of social exclusion, who will benefit from improved digital life skills.
