Module 6: Digital Empathy – Curriculum

Digital empathy is the ability to understand and respond to others’ feelings in online spaces, even when we don’t see their faces or hear their voices. In today’s world, much of our communication happens through messages, social media, or gaming platforms, where emotions can be harder to read and misunderstandings can happen easily.

This module helps young people recognize the importance of empathy online,understand how digital communication changes how we connect with others, anddevelop skills to be more kind, understanding, and respectful in digital interactions.It’s about creating safer and more supportive online communities.
