Aventura Marao Clube

Founded in 1993 in Amarante, AMC is a local, non-profit youth association promoting healthy lifestyles, sustainability, and active citizenship. With over 400 members, we focus on Mountain Biking, Canoeing, and Fair Trade.
In 1999, we opened Portugal’s first Fair Trade store. Since 2009, we’ve managed the CJ Amarante Youth Centre/Hostel, leading 150+ international projects and involving 6,500+ young people in volunteering and youth participation.
